How EriStay checks apartments and local services

Trust is not a badge added to a page. It is a chain of responsibility that starts before publication and continues through the private guest request.

  1. How we verify apartments

Before a verified apartment is listed, the responsible local team visits in person, documents the rooms, and checks the essentials. The inspection date on each listing is tied to that visit — not a guess.

  2. Why prices are transparent

The rent shown is the owner's real asking price. The refundable guarantee is shown beside it before you request anything. EriStay service fees for optional pickup, cleaning, translation, admin help, visa support, or wedding coordination are agreed separately before the service — never as a surprise in chat.

  3. Who checks the apartment

Each listing has a named ground contact who handles the inspection, meets guests or arranges pickup, and checks the apartment again after checkout. Availability is reviewed weekly so listings don't go stale.

  4. What happens if something is wrong

Open your submitted trip in My request and choose File a complaint. The complaint stays attached to that request, with its status and follow-up visible in one place. For an immediate safety or access emergency, also use live chat.

  5. What we do not promise

EriStay does not own these apartments and isn't a hotel. We can't guarantee an owner won't change their price for a future stay, we don't promise visa or residency approval, and an apartment isn't reserved until the ground team confirms it in writing.

  6. Legal & compliance note

This isn't legal advice. Owners are responsible for complying with Egyptian tax and rental regulations for their property; guests are responsible for their own visa and residency compliance during their stay. For anything beyond general guidance, we recommend speaking with local legal counsel.
